Emily currently works for the Lutheran World Federation at the United Nations in New York.
Emily's done some amazing work, including helping found the Global Youth Coalition on AIDS, which facilitates youth participation in International AIDS processes, and helps build capacity of youth all over the world working on HIV and AIDS.
As well as holding down a job at the UN Emily is also a freelance journalist, often contributing to Wiretap Magazine(www.wiretapmag.org). She graduated with honors in International Development and Creative Writing from University of Redlands.
