At this year’s AIDS Conference in Toronto, MTV’s Staying Alive team ran a 48 hour film competition. We selected teams of youth delegates and challenged them to write, shoot and edit a whole film (yes... a whole film!) in just two days. The aim was to give passionate, budding filmmakers the opportunity to slam home the HIV/AIDS message in a new, creative and inspiring way. You can view the results right here… just pay the ‘media’ section a visit.
Eight fantastic films weren’t the only great thing to come out of 48Fest, we also canned a no holds-barred documentary. You can catch the doc in two parts by clicking on the links below – Not only does it lay bare the gritty determination and passion of the filmmakers, it’s also hosted by super-duper chart topper Nelly Furtado and features appearances from man of the mo Justin Timberlake and superstar Alicia Keys. Not bad, eh?! We think you ought to check it out, right now!
